Chairman, Greater Hall Chamber
As we all navigate new challenges and obstacles daily, it is important to know that the Greater Hall Chamber is your partner moving through the COVID-19 crisis.
The Chamber team is committed to the success of our community and ensuring the conditions for healthy commerce. The staff will continue to work diligently to serve our members during this difficult time. It is important that we support our businesses during this time. Our small businesses need your help. Suggestions:
1. Order Takeout or Delivery
Your favorite restaurants may have had to shut their doors, but many still offer takeout or delivery. Not only does that keep the business going, it also provides income for delivery drivers. Or, use a resource to have them delivered to you, like Grubhub and DoorDash.
2. Buy Gift Cards
Want to inject some cash into a small business right now? Buy a gift card. Spend $25 on a gift card to use later, when life returns to normal.
3. Shop Local Online
Many Chamber members and local businesses have online stores in addition to their brick-and-mortar locations. Whenever possible, consider giving them your business. We need to support each other!
Check the Chamber and Vision 2030’s social media posts and websites regularly for updates. These are challenging times, but the Chamber is here as your business resource and advocate. Please reach out at any time with questions, concerns or needs. We are here for you.
As we emerge from this challenge, there will likely be economic impacts where our Chamber community can truly have the greatest impact in reviving economic prosperity. Together, we will move forward and weather these uncertain times.
Remember, the great philosopher Winnie-the-Pooh has a few words worthy of sharing that are more relevant now than ever: “Promise me you’ll always remember: You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
