A healthcare and technology focus will be implemented in 2004’s Business Expo & Job Fair. The event is Thursday, March 18, 2004 at the Georgia Mountains Center from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
The Expo Committee, chaired by Judi Walti of GuestHouse Inn & Suites, is now seeking sponsorships and booth participants. Advanced sponsorships allow businesses to choose booth space before the general membership. Expo participants must be Chamber members, and reservations are made on a first come-first serve basis. The Job Fair is open to non-member companies. This year’s event will offer seminars on healthcare and technology.
Sponsors will benefit from over $8,000 in advertisement between The Times and Jacob’s Media (Media Sponsors) with additional promotions supplied by the Chamber. Purchasing Alliance Solutions/Blue Cross Blue Shield is the Gold Sponsor of the event. Community Bank and Trust has signed up as a Silver Sponsor.
Last year’s Business Expo had over 2,200 visitors from the community and businesses during the day as well as several hundred at Business After Hours. In addition to the 100+ exhibitors, this year’s event will feature many activities to draw the crowds – live auction, door prizes, food exhibitors from local restaurants, and wellness screenings for health-minded individuals, healthcare and technology seminars just to name a few.
