Good News Clinics’ 2012 Fundraising Dinner

Thursday, September 27th at 6:30 pm

First Baptist Church Banquet Hall

Imagine if you didn’t have access to health care.  What if you lost your job and health insurance as many have during the current economic downturn?    While many may have found temporary or part-time jobs to stay afloat, incomes are significantly reduced and individuals find themselves without health insurance and without the means to pay for health care services for the first time in their lives.  This could be a family member, friend or neighbor…

We need your support of GNC’s 2012 Fundraising Dinner for free health care services for those in need provided by volunteer physicians and dentists in our medical community.  The evening includes a seated dinner, entertainment provided by The Physician Talent Review, back by popular demand, and presentation of the Dr. Sam Poole Volunteer of the Year Award to an outstanding volunteer.

Just what the doctor ordered, physicians from our local medical community and friends will bring to the stage a variety of musical talent to help support Good News Clinics’ mission to provide free medical and dental care, medications, and specialty referrals to individuals in Hall County who are uninsured and cannot afford health care.

The Physician Talent Review will feature local physicians Dr. John Darden, Dr. Cathy Finch, Dr. Mike Gottsman, Dr. Jack Griffeth, Dr. Holt Harrison, Dr. Bill Hallowes, Dr. Tim Scully and Dr. Tennent Slack

GNC was recently challenged to raise $80,000 in two months, and receive a matching $80,000 grant!  Sponsorships and table sales will help us meet this fundraising challenge and provide GNC’s volunteer physicians and dentists the opportunity to continue serving those in need in our community.
