Since the official launch of the Greater Hall Chamber’s new web site last spring, the site has been visited over 29,000 separate times, by more than 9,000different users. Web surfers have found the Chamber site by using over 1,600 different search words and phrases in Internet search engines like Yahoo and AltaVista. Currently, more than 340 different Web sites are linking to the Chamber site.
Visitors to the site are using it for many different reasons, including reading membership news, obtaining event information, and researching information on locating their business or family to Greater Hall County. In fact, more than 4,000 different “trails” have been followed by people browsing the site. The most popular sections of the Chamber’s site include the homepage, community, economic development, press, and events pages.
