Chamber Seeks “Most Fit Company”

Gainesville, GA – August 11, 2008: As part of the VISION 2030 HealthSmart Community Challenge, the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Healthcare Committee is conducting a survey to seek the “Most Fit Company” in Gainesville-Hall County. Judging criteria for the contest includes Wellness, Nutrition and Physical Activity that the company provides for its employees.

Recognition of the winner and all companies participating in this survey along with awards will be presented at the HealthSmart Luncheon on October 8 at 11:30 a.m. at the Georgia Mountains Center. Special guest speaker at the luncheon is Barbara Dooley.

Company representatives may drop by the Greater Hall Chamber office at 230 E.E. Butler Parkway in Gainesville to pick up a survey, email to request one or download at link below.

“The Chamber’s Healthcare Committee initiated this first-time survey to raise company wellness awareness and promote healthy workplaces in our community. We hope to recognize businesses that are encouraging employees to live a healthier life,” said Brittany Holtzclaw, Project Manager, Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce.
