The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Puttin’ on the Blitz Membership Drive held on April 23 was a complete success! Chairmen Reed Skinner (Regions Bank) and Cindy Wilson (BB&T) recruited eight teams to participate in bringing in new Chamber members and surpassed goal by signing up 80 new members!
The all day event began at 8:00 a.m. at the new Chamber building and concluded with a Business After Hours. The BAH was sponsored by GuestHouse and Panera Bread and held at GuestHouse Inn & Suites.

Regions Bank was the First Place Team ($1000 prize) bringing in the most new dollars – $7,546 and 24 members.
Gainesville Bank & Trust was the Second Place Team ($500 prize) with $2,810 and nine members.
Greg Merritt, Southern Heritage Bank, was the top individual ($500 prize) recruiting $2,939 (nine members). Cindy Wilson of BB&T brought in $2,610 (9 members) and Connie Davis (Watkins Chiropractic Clinic) Chairman of the Member Relations Committee brought in $2,565 (10 members).
Totals for the drive were 80 new memberships and $25,153 in dues, far surpassing the goal of 60 new members.
