Chamber Membership Campaign Success

Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Membership Chairman Jimbo Floyd, Turner, Wood & Smith Insurance, announces 135 new Chamber memberships as part of the annual recruitment campaign that ended September 30. Over 50 volunteers were out recruiting new Chamber members during the month of September under the leadership of Membership Coordinator Kara Matter and Membership Vice President Michelle Wiley.

“The success of this year’s membership campaign was due to the many programs the Chamber offers to all businesses, both large and small,” said Jimbo Floyd. “From the Chamber’s referrals of members only, networking opportunities and Small Business Success Seminars to Drugs Don’t Work and health insurance discounts, it really does make good business sense to be a Chamber member.”

Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Kit Dunlap said, “In all my years here at the Greater Hall Chamber, this is the most successful recruitment campaign to date. Kara Matter did an outstanding job and has only been employed with the Chamber for a few months. I thank all the tireless volunteers who were out and about taking their valuable time to “sell” the benefits of Chamber membership. We have a dynamic volunteer force and are fortunate to have this great success in challenging economic times.”
