Campaign Nets 130 New Chamber Members

The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce October Membership Campaign was a tremendous success bringing in over 130 new members! Butch Miller, Milton Martin Honda, and Cindy Wilson, Gainesville Bank & Trust, co-chaired the two-week campaign that included over 40 volunteer recruiters.

“This was one of the largest and most successful new membership drives ever for the Greater Hall Chamber,” said Butch Miller. “I am ecstatic with the outcome! We had a GREAT level of participation by a tremendous number of volunteers, and I’d like to recognize the efforts of all teams.”

Volunteers were grouped in teams during the drive with the first place team in number of new members recruited going to the Chamber’s Ambassadors Council (Colleen Manji of Jazzercise, Captain). Gainesville Bank & Trust (Jacob Thome, Captain) won second place, and United Community Bank (Julie Nicholson, Captain) was third place winner. Other teams included Regions Bank, SunTrust Bank, Milton Martin Honda, Wachovia, Turner Wood & Smith Insurance, BB&T, Jackson EMC, ZF Industries, and a team of Chamber Board of Directors.

Greg Merritt of Southern Heritage Bank was individual winner with 17 new members and received a cash prize of $1,000. All volunteers and new members were recognized at the Chamber’s Business After Hours on October 19 sponsored by Blue Laser Group.
“We are so grateful for the support of all our Chamber members and volunteers. We are excited about the continued growth in Hall County as well the growth in our Chamber Membership,” said Robyn Lynch, Greater Hall Chamber Vice President of Membership.
