VISION 2030 Launches Public Arts Initiative

VISION 2030, a program of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce,  launched its Public Arts Initiative on April 23.

The mission of the VISION 2030 Public Art Committee is to enhancing the lives of every citizen and the community’s long-term economic vitality through exhibition of public artworks. Under the leadership of committee chairs, LeTrell Simpson of Con-sen-sus, and Frank Norton Jr. of The Norton Agency, the committee has been working on a Public Art Walking Tour and Map for over two years with many hours of research and cataloging of current public art inventory.

The Gainesville-Hall County free Public Art Tour provides the opportunity to view a selection of over 30 works of art in a variety of media using an easy to follow map.

Community Public Art Partners include The Arts Council, Brenau University and the Quinlan Visual Arts Center. Corporate sponsors are The Norton Agency and VISION 2030.
