Tim Evans Named GEDA Secretary-Treasurer

The Georgia Economic Developers Association named Tim Evans to its 2012 Board of Directors as Secretary-Treasurer. Evans joins a team of economic development leaders from positions held all over Georgia as officers and directors of the organization. Tim Evans joined the Greater Hall Chamber as Vice President of Economic Development in 2005. Evans is Executive Director of the Gainesville-Hall Economic Development Council and also serves as the staff for the Gainesville & Hall County Development Authority. He is responsible for managing business recruitment, expansions and retention efforts by marketing and representing Gainesville-Hall County to key business decision makers in the U.S. and internationally. Prior to his current position, Evans worked with the Georgia Department of Economic Development for 11 years and was involved in marketing, project management, export assistance and business recruitment for domestic and international markets. greaterhallchamber.com
