The Wisdom Project

Are you 55 and wiser? Know someone who is? The Wisdom Project is is taking applications for the Spring 2014 Session. The Chamber and Brenau University’s Center for Lifetime Study kicked off VISION 2030’s senior leadership program, The Wisdom Project, in 2012. The program is designed for age 55+ members of the community and prepares retired and semi-retired individuals to use their wisdom and talents in creative ways through action and advocacy. Through a hands-on service project and interaction with like-minded individuals from the community, The Wisdom Project participants experience a dynamic, multi-faceted view of Gainesville and Hall County, explore local issues and opportunities and engage with community leaders.

The Spring Session kicks off on February 14 with programs on Fridays, February 21; March 14; March 21; April 11; April 25; May 9 and concludes with a Graduation Ceremony on May 16. The deadline to apply is January 15.
