May 1, 2002/Gainesville, GA: Attention information personnel! The first open meeting of the Lake Lanier Technology Alliance (LLTA) will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2002 from 5:30 – 7:00 pm at Henry O’s Restaurant at 322 Spring Street in Gainesville. The meeting is free and open to the public.

This meeting of the Lake Lanier Technology Alliance will provide technology professionals, from large and small businesses, government and educational institutions, an opportunity to network among peers, join in the technology vision for Greater Hall County and provide direction for our community. Bob Bilbrough, founder and CEO of Qualcon, and Lance Compton of Red Clay Interactive, will share the vision with attendees.

Technology changes every day, and it is impossible for any one person to keep up with this ever-changing industry alone. Therefore, for technology professionals and their companies to survive, it is imperative that they gather on a regular basis to share information and ideas and network with their peers. So how will Hall County guarantee our technology workforce will stay ahead of the game? Welcome to the Lake Lanier Technology Alliance. The LLTA seeks to bring together our local technology community to provide direction, educational programs, communications and organizational assistance.

The meeting is sponsored by Qualcon and the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce. Please RSVP to sdavis@ghcc.com or call Shelley Davis at 770-532-6206.
