Small Business of the Year Award Nominations Now Open

The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Small Business Council is seeking nominations for the Small Business of the Year Award. The award recognizes an outstanding small business and Greater Hall Chamber member for 2003-2004. A Chamber member may nominate their own business or another member. Nomination deadline is Thursday, April 15.



Eligibility and judging criteria for the award includes: the nominee must have operated two years in Hall County; must be a member of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce; show growth in sales, income, number of employees; innovative product or service; response to adversity; contributions to civic and community involvement; must employ 50 people or less.



In addition, the Greater Hall Chamber is seeking nominations for a NEW award – the Family Business of the Year Award – to recognize a family-owned business for 2003-04. Any business nominated must be a member of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce. A member may nominate their business or another member. Nominations must be received by Thursday, April 15, 2004.



Eligibility and judging criteria for the Family Business of the Year Award includes the following:



€ 25 years or more in business in Hall County

€ Family owned

€ Contributions and involvement in the community

€ Member of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce

€ Brief information regarding company’s history, owners, product/services, location and why deserving of award
