Sevex, Swiss-based manufacturer locates to Hall County
Sevex North America’s headquarters and manufacturing, design engineering and technical service departments are relocating from Gwinnett County to a larger space in Hall County.
Founded in 1976 in Switzerland, Sevex AG is a leading company for development and production of high performance heatshields for the automotive industry. The move is part of the organization’s growth plan to expand sales and production to meet increasing customer demand for heatshield products.
“We are delighted to have Sevex in Hall County,” said Kit Dunlap, President and CEO of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce. “Our growing automotive supplier base in Gainesville- Hall County serves the automotive industry in Georgia and surrounding Southeastern states as well as the global market.”
Sevex develops automotive underbody heatshield systems with combined thermal and acoustical performance. The company’s in-house manufacturing facility allows for development of prototype tools and parts and assists with customer in system and vehicle testing.
The company and 65 employees will relocate to an existing speculative building in Majestic Realty’s Golden Commerce Park in South Hall County. The 125,000 square foot building is located off Interstate 985 (Exit 8) and will accommodate projected growth. The expected move-in date is November 2007.
