Results: 3rd Annual Get Fit Stay Fit Corporate Challenge

The Greater Hall Chamber’s 3rd Annual Get Fit Stay Fit garnered the support of over 1,000 runners and walkers and targeted employers committed to employee health and wellness. Runners of all ages, including high school and middle school students participated in the 5K Run/Walk and celebrated at Hall County’s Largest Office Party with awards and recognition following the race. The Title Sponsor for the event was Consumers Life.

The Fastest Corporate Team was Diamond Auto Spa and the Fastest Community team was First Baptist Church of Gainesville. The Team Spirit Award winner was Advantage Staffing. The Fastest CEO Award went to Dave Brannon, Brannon Pediatrics, with Jason Everett of Budget Outlet Carpet in second place.

The Greater Hall Chamber’s Ambassador Council won the “Most Original” in the T-Shirt Contest. Northeast Georgia Diagnostic Clinic won the “Best Use of the Corporate Challenge Logo” and Gainesville Eye Associations won the “Best Use of a Company Logo” in the T-Shirt Contest.

A portion of the proceeds will go to local organizations to provide scholarships for youth summer sports camps including Hall County Parks and Leisure, Gainesville Parks and Recreation, and the Georgia Mountains YMCA.
