Official Corporate Throwdown Issued for Get Fit Stay Fit 5K

Gainesville, GA – March 24, 2009: The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Get Fit Stay Fit 5K Corporate Challenge Committee is issuing an Official Corporate Throwdown. Event Chairman Keith McLeod, Northeast Georgia Urological Associates, is challenge business professionals and individuals to get fit!

Runners and walkers, age 10 to 80, have registered for the Get Fit Stay Fit 5K at Riverside Military Academy on April 16. You still have time to sign up and participate! The Title Sponsor for Get Fit Stay Fit is Consumers Life Insurance Company, and the event promotes health, wellness and fitness among area companies and their employees. If you work for a small company, large corporation or are self-employed, join us!

Awards will be presented to the Fastest Team, Fastest CEO, T-Shirt Design Contest Winner, Team Spirit Award and more! “Hall County’s Largest Office Party” follows the run/walk with live music from Riverside Band, prizes, food and fun.

“You want competition?,” says McLeod. “You think you’re better than us? Let’s take it outside! You have been challenged to a corporate throwdown!”

McLeod and members of the Get Fit Stay Fit committee have already registered 1,000 people to participate in the 5K Run Walk at Riverside Military Academy on April 16 at 6:00 p.m. The committee will take $5 off the $15 registration fee for those signing up for the challenge.
