Norman joins TLC’s Department of Neonatology as a nurse practitioner
Gainesville, November 8, 2010 –
The Longstreet Clinic, P.C., is pleased to announce that Kristi T. Norman, RN, MN, CPNP, has joined the Department of Neonatology as a certified pediatric nurse practitioner.
Norman earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, Master of Nursing and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certification at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. She is licensed by the Georgia Board of Nursing, certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and is pursuing her Neonatal Nursing Certification through Vanderbilt University. Norman has medical staff privileges at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Babies born prematurely or with illness receive specialized care in NGMC’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or Neonatal Intermediate Care Nursery (IMC), which are staffed 24 hours a day. The unit is located in NGMC’s state-of-the-art Women & Children’s Pavilion. TLC’s neonatologists offer high quality medical care with the goal of a speedy recovery so that babies can go home and be with their families.
