Most Fit Company 2012

As part of the VISION 2030 HealthSmart Community Challenge, the Greater Hall Chamber is conducting its annual survey to seek the “Most Fit Company” in Gainesville-Hall County. Judging criteria for the contest includes wellness, nutrition and fitness opportunities provided for employees. The award is presented in three categories: large companies (251+ employees), medium (51-250) and small (50 or less).

“The Chamber’s Healthcare Committee initiated this program to raise company wellness awareness and promote healthy workplaces in our community. We hope to recognize businesses that are encouraging employees to live a healthier life,” said Healthcare Committee Chairman Chad Bolton, Northeast Georgia Health System.

Award presentations will be take place at the HealthSmart Breakfast on Wednesday, October 10 at 7:30 a.m. at the Georgia Mountains Center. The breakfast will feature guest speaker Jeff Hill, a meteorologist and part of the Fox 5 News Team in Atlanta. Jeff recently suffered complications from a heart disorder. He now has a pacemaker and is sharing his story about the importance of health and fitness and listening to your body’s symptoms.
