Membership Satisfaction Survey Results

Results of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce’s Membership Satisfaction Survey were compiled and reflected excellent overall ratings from the membership. Members suggested the Chamber’s primary focus be the support of existing businesses, economic development and community improvement. Most members stated they joined the Chamber to increase sales and revenue and grow their business. Chamber efforts in economic development, specifically recruiting new industry and assisting existing companies with expansions, got top ratings as did the Chamber’s impact on efforts to improve our community’s “quality of life.”

Members still prefer to keep abreast of Chamber news and activities via the monthly newsletter Business Link (51%), though many (42%) would like to receive updates and information via e-mail. Some 45% of members returning surveys were active on Chamber committees and 84% were active in Chamber sponsored events (Business After Hours, Expo, Job Fair, Lunch ‘n Learns, etc.).
