Main Street Gainesville’s 3rd Annual Upstairs Downtown Tour & Holiday Open House

The Greater Hall Chamber’s upcoming Business After Hours is Main Street Gainesville’s 3rd Annual Upstairs Downtown Tour & Holiday Open House. On Thursday, November 13, from 5:15 – 7:15p.m., the Historic Downtown Gainesville Square will come alive with Christmas lights and festive decorations.



Live music and delicious food from Downtown Gainesville’s best restaurants will highlight the event. Tours include My Friend’s Place, in the exciting Main Street Market (registration for members and first stop on the tour); Celestial Studios, the new creation of Fox Gradin; the former Woolworth Building, soon to be the Princeton Building; Ralph Waldo’s Vintage Books & Newsstand; Sherry Matthew’s fabulous new creation Cool Stuff of Household Interest; Anna Jennings’ Side Street Studio and the new Emerald River Trading Company for fabulous desserts. The tour returns to the hot new Boiler Room and Luna’s Piano Bar.



Delicious progressive-dinner-style food is provided by My Friend’s Place, Turnstile Deli, The Monkey Barrel, A Bite of New Orleans, Collegiate Grill, Roly Poly, Tea Tyme, and Main Street Market’s Sweet Petals, Highland Creamery Ice Cream and the Boiler Room.



Most Downtown shops will be open in holiday style for shopping and browsing. Horse & Carriage rides will be available around the Square for $2.00 per person to magically travel back in time! Santa will make his first appearance Downtown for this Holiday season along with his Santa Train ride for the kids. It’s a magical time in Downtown Gainesville. Don’t miss it!
