BellSouth Executive to Speak at November 2 Meeting

Gainesville, GA – 10/31/06: The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Lake Lanier Technology Alliance (LLTA) meeting “Trends in Communications” is Thursday, November 2 from 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce building in Downtown Gainesville. The event is open to the public and will feature Paul Chambers, Northeast Georgia District Manager for BellSouth as guest speaker.

The presentation will include a discussion of technology trends in communications, local infrastructure, and the changing telecommunications marketplace.

“Having a professional of Paul Chamber’s standing, with a company as important to our area as BellSouth, will make for a great event,” said LLTA chairman Bob Bilbrough, President of Qualcon. “An opportunity to sit and speak candidly with an industry leader like this does not happen too often.”

Kit Dunlap, president of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, agrees. “It is an honor to have Paul and BellSouth as such active members of our Chamber and this community,” she said. “We are excited to hear his insights into this dynamic field.”

Sponsored by BellSouth, the LLTA meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 2 at the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce and is open to the public. There will be a $5 charge at the door, and refreshments will be available.
