Lake Lanier Survey Deadine is November 20
The 1071 Coalition needs your input as part of an economic impact study of Lake Lanier. With its consultant firm, The Bleakly Group, the 1071 Coalition is conducting two surveys (businesses and residents) as part of an economic impact study of Lake Lanier commissioned by the Coalition. The information and data collected from the surveys will be critical to determine the economic impact of the lake and its changing levels on the region, which is the goal of the study. The surveys are funded by 1071 Coalition member donations including those contributed by area businesses and county governments.
The 1071 Coalition encourages all to participate in the confidential, web-based surveys. If you are a resident of the North Georgia area or if you own or represent a business in the North Georgia area, please visit www.1071coalition.org and participate in the survey. Survey respondents can chose to remain anonymous or agree to be contacted for a follow-up interview to provide more information about how changing lake levels have impacted them personally or their businesses. Even if you believe that you or your business is not influenced by Lake Lanier, your response is still very important.
Surveys will be accepted through November 20. Please participate in these very important surveys and help make it and the economic impact study as informative and accurate as possible. The survey results will be reported publicly in the upcoming months. Call Greater Hall Chamber President/CEO Kit Dunlap for more information, 770-532-6206.
