Kate Maine is public relations director of Morton, Vardeman & Carlson, Northeast Georgia’s oldest and largest marketing, advertising and public relations agency. Founded in 1973, the firm specializes in strategic business-to-business and consumer-oriented communications for leading regional, national and international clients.
Kate’s experience spans public relations in government, corporate communications, higher education and the non-profit arenas. She has presented national seminars on crisis communications and community relations programs.
A graduate of the University of Georgia, she has earned accreditation in public relations (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America.
“There are numerous governmental, economic and growth issues that impact businesses – both large and small,” Maine said. “The Greater Hall Chamber’s marketing and communications division aims to promote healthy economic growth by keeping the Chamber members and the community informed of key issues and activities affecting businesses.”
Kate and her husband, Bill, live in Gainesville with their two children. Bill is an on-air personality and program manager for Majic 102.9 FM, owned by Jacobs Media.
