Economic Development

Environmental Health & Safety: Promotes and expands environment, health and safety management of existing industries through educational forums. Meets September – May.

Lake Lanier Technology Alliance: Promotes education and networking of career technology professionals. Meets quarterly. Dues required.

Drugs Don’t Work: Promotes and expands anti-druprogram in businesses by enlisting members in the program for training. Discounts on insurance available to program participants.

Industry Roundtable: Manufacturers, distributors and processors meet for plant tours and shared information. Limited to CEO’s and industry managers. Dues required.

Human Resource Council: Limited to existing industry HR managers as approved by council vote. Dues required. Meets monthly.

Membership Development

Chamber Centennial Committee: The Greater Hall Chamber celebrates its 100 year anniversary in 2008. This committee plans events to commemorate the 100th anniversary.

South Hall Council: Addresses issues and needs particularly in South Hall County. Coordinates monthly South Hall Business Coalition meetings.

Ambassador Council: Active in ribbon cuttings, Business After Hours and various Chamber projects. Develops strategies/activities for member retention. Meets monthly. Dues required.

Leads Groups: The Leads Groups helps to develop business relationships and generate referrals and leads. Meets 1st and 3rd Wednesday.

Small Business Showcase: Assists in planning and promoting event, booth space sales and overall coordination. Meets October – March.

Hackers Holiday Golf Tournament: Assists in planning and working the annual golf tournament. Meets Winter through Spring.

5K Corporate Challenge: Coordinates 5K Run/Walk event held in the Spring.

Education Division

Partners in Education: Promotes and supports business/education partnerships. Meets as needed

International Small Business Committee: Promotes and supports programs for interaction with international small businesses. Meets monthly.

Community Development

Health Care Committee: Educate and address health care issues as relates to business. Meets monthly. First Wednesday of each month.

VISION 2030: A community project open to all citizens to implement long-term goals and plans for Gainesville-Hall County.

AgriBusiness Committee: Increases the community’s understanding and communicates effectively the importance of agribusiness to Hall County’s economy. Meets as needed.

Beautification Committee: Promotes beautification efforts in the Greater Hall area. Meets the third Wednesday of each month.

Government Affairs

Issues Committee: Studies community issues, formulates and adopts policies on issues affecting business and the community. Limited number. Meets monthly – third Wednesday.

Georgia Legislature Committee: Assists with planning the annual appreciation event given for members of the Georgia General Assembly. Meets as needed. September – February.

Small Business Council: Provides a forum for small businesses by communicating ideas, sharing knowledge and experience and providing leads in order to become more successful. Sponsors monthly Small Business Seminars. Meets monthly – third Tuesday.

Membership in the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce allows member representatives to participate in various Chamber committee activity.
