Industry Appreciation Luncheon

The Greater Hall Chamber’s Industry of the Year Awards will be presented at the 4th Annual Industry Appreciation Luncheon on Wednesday, January 23 at 11:30 a.m. at the Chattahoochee Country Club. The awards honor area existing industry leaders, and the program will include remarks by Jackie Rohosky, Assistant Commissioner, Technical College System of Georgia, Economic Development Programs.

Jackie Rohosky has been at the helm of Georgia Quick Start for more than 20 years. Quick Start is the workforce-training program and powerful weapon in Georgia’s economic development arsenal assisting in new and expanding industry design, development and delivery of company-specific training.

Industry of the Year Award winning small, medium and large manufacturers, processors and distributors from previous years include: AdEdge Water Technologies, Mansfield Energy, Fieldale Farms, IMS Gear, ZF Group, Coleman Natural Foods, Hollis Transport & Distribution, Cargill, and Wrigley Manufacturing.

“Over 26% of Gainesville-Hall County’s workforce is employed in producing goods,” said Shelley Davis, Vice President of Existing Industry for the Greater Hall Chamber. “This event serves as a way to highlight the community’s appreciation to this vital segment and celebrate Greater Hall County’s existing industry.”

The event is sponsored by Lanier Technical College.
