I’m Healthsmart
An initiative of VISION 2030, HealthSmart Community Challenge is a wellness program that seeks to broaden workplace health. The initiative is coordinated by the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Health Care Committee under the leadership of Chairman Mimi Collins of The Longstreet Clinic. The committee is currently organizing a campaign called “I’m HealthSmart.” This campaign will target area restaurants and seeks to promote healthy food choices when dining out. Participating restaurants will place “I’m HealthSmart” stickers next to healthy menu items. SAVE THE DATE
The 2nd Annual HealthSmart Expo is Wednesday, October 29 at the Georgia Mountains Center. The expo will begin at 1:00 p.m. and feature diabetes, skin cancer and blood pressure screenings. Flu shots will be available as well as over 75 health experts to answer questions.
