The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce’s upcoming Business After Hours is Main Street Gainesville’s Second Annual Upstairs Downtown Tour and Holiday Open House on Thursday, November 14, from 5:15 – 7:15pm.
The Historic Downtown Gainesville Square will glow with Christmas lights and festive decorations. Live music and delicious food from Downtown Gainesville’s best restaurants will highlight the event.
Tours will include 2 Dog Cafe and The Artichoke (registration for members and first stop on the tour); Brice Vorderburg’s new Coffee Shop of Horrors and his upstairs apartment; Ralph Waldo’s Vintage Books & Newsstand; Sherry Matthew’s new Home Decor store under construction; Hyman Reynolds’ newly refurbished building; the Afterglow (where drink tokens can be purchased) and the new Main Street Market (the Harkrider’s venture on the corner of Main & Spring).
Delicious food along the tour, progressive dinner style, will be provided by Turnstile Deli, The Monkey Barrel, 2 Dog Cafe, Coffee Shop of Horrors and Main Street Market’s Sweet Petals. Many of the Downtown shops will be open in Holiday style for the tour. Horse and carriage rides will be available around the Square for $2.00.
