HealthSmart Wellness Expo ’09
The 3rd Annual HealthSmart Interactive Health & Wellness Expo is Wednesday, October 7 at the Georgia Mountains Center. Health Screenings (10 am – 6 pm) will be provided free including blood pressure, diabetes and skin cancer screenings. Flu shots will be available for a fee, and over 70 exhibitors will be displaying services at the Expo (1 – 6 pm).
Come hear Phillip and Amy Parham, contestants on season 6 of “The Biggest Loser Families” at the HealthSmart Luncheon on October 7 at 11:30 a.m. at the Georgia Mountains Center. During their season they lost a combined total of 256 pounds and the highest percentage of weight loss of any couple in Biggest Loser history. They have appeared on the “Today Show” “Oprah” and “The Doctors” and have formed a “90 day fitness challenge” that they plan to take nationwide. Gainesville-Hall County’s Most Fit Company will also be announced at the luncheon. Luncheon reservations required. $20 per person.
The Expo is 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. and open to the public with NO FEE for ADMISSION. Exhibitor Booths are $350 each ($500 non-members) and Non-Profit Tables are available for $100 each.
