HealthSmart 2018, presented by CIGNA, kicks off with the HealthSmart Breakfast on Wednesday, October 17 at 7:30 a.m. at the Gainesville Civic Center. Keynote Speaker for the breakfast is Dallas Gay, a Gainesville businessman, philanthropist and activist working to combat opioid abuse in our community and the state. Presentation of the Most Fit Company Awards will take place during the breakfast program.
The HealthSmart Expo opens at 7:30 a.m. and is free and open to the public.FREE Community Health Screenings by Longstreet Clinic with professionals on hand to conduct screenings, review your written report and answer questions. Fasting prior to screenings is recommended. FREE Shuttle Service and no admission fee. No appointment is needed! Great door prizes and FREE McDonald’s salads to the 1st 100 screenings.

Tim and Tina use an abundance of local, fresh ingredients in their restaurant and will discuss the benefits in their business and how to transition this healthy eating and meal planning for meals at home for your family.

Holli Lee, certified AFFA trainer in personal fitness, will share a variety of exercises that everyone can do to stay healthy, no matter your age! Holli has been in the fitness industry for 10 years and instructs classes as well as private sessions at the YMCA, Frances Meadows Center and Gainesville First United Methodist Church.
