A Healthcare Reform Seminar will be held on Thursday, September 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Georgia Mountains Center in Downtown Gainesville. The seminar will focus on how we are all affected by Healthcare Reform with discussion with experts in the field and a booklet for participants on Healthcare Reform.

PANEL

Rich Sanders of Sanders Law Firm represents clients on a broad range of issues, including business transactions, fraud and abuse compliance Medicare reimbursement, antitrust policy, and legislative activities and assists providers in their relationships with federal and state regulatory agencies. Rich serves on the adjunct faculty at Emory University teaching courses in business and regulatory law and is a former U.S. intelligence officer.

Al Ertel is Chief Operating Officer at Alliant Health Plans. A provider founded not for profit company, Alliant has been providing health coverage in Georgia for over 15 years. Al was appointed by Governor Deal to serve on the Healthcare Exchange Advisory Board, and he is an active board member of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce.

Rob Fowler is Executive Vice President and Partner at Turner, Wood & Smith Insurance, North Georgia’s oldest and largest independent insurance agency.
