Greater Hall Chamber Seeks Nominations for 3-Year Directors
Gainesville, GA – January 14, 2010: The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to supporting an aggressive business environment and making a positive contribution to the community. Founded in 1908, the Chamber serves the Greater Hall County area, including the cities of Gainesville, Flowery Branch, Oakwood, Clermont, Gillsville, Lula, Braselton and Buford.
The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Nominating Committee is seeking nominations for new three-year Directors. Serving with Chamber Chairman Emily Bagwell on the Director Nominating Committee are Chairman-Elect Darrell Snyder, Immediate Past Chairman R.K. Whitehead, and Past Chairmen Jimmy Adams, John Vardeman, Rob Fowler and Denise Deal.
The committee will select new director nominees as stated in the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce By-Laws:
Any Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce member in good standing may submit one or more nominations.
The nominees will be named in February 2010.
The nominees are elected in March 2010.
Five to seven director positions will be elected.
Each new director will serve a three-year term beginning July 1, 2010.
Nominations must be submitted in writing.
Nominations must be received by Friday, February 5th at 5:00 p.m.
