Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Now Accepting Nominations for 2003 Small

Business of the Year



Gainesville, GA-The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the 2003 Small Business of the Year. For several years, the Chamber of Commerce has presented the prestigious award created to recognize outstanding small business owners and their companies for achievements and contributions to the community and to the local economy.



Eligibility and judging criteria for the award includes: the nominee must have operated two years in Hall County; must be a member of the Greater Hall Chamber; show growth in sales, income, number of employees; innovative product or service; response to adversity; contributions to civic and community involvement; must employ 50 people or less.



“The Small Business of the Year celebration allows us to honor the contributions that small businesses make in our community, our state, and our nation. From Hall County’s outstanding small businesses, finalists, who embody the entrepreneurial spirit that makes our community unique, will be chosen,” comments Kit Dunlap, President and CEO, Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce.

The winner will be announced at the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce 95th Annual Meeting & Gala at Brenau University on May 15.
