Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Chairman Dick Valentine and the Nominating Committee will present nominations for new Directors for 2003-04 in February.
Serving with Valentine on the Director Nominating Committee are Chairman-Elect Benny Bagwell and Past Chairmen Doug Carter, Brent Hoffman, Martha Simmons, and Steve Gilliam. The committee will select new directors as stated in the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce By-laws:
Any member in good standing may submit one or more nominations for the position of director.
The nominees will be named by the committee in February 2003 and elected in March 2003.
Five to seven director positions will be elected, each serving a three-year term beginning July 1, 2003.
Nominations must be submitted in writing and received by January 24, 2003 at 5:00 p.m.
