Greater Hall Chamber Hosts State Officials in Public Discussion

GEORGIA CHAMBER LEGISLATIVE LISTENING SESSION IS NOVEMBER 18

Gainesville, GA – November 5, 2008. The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce will host officials from the Georgia Chamber of Commerce for a Legislative Listening Session on Tuesday, November 18 at 4:00 p.m. at the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, 230 E.E. Butler Parkway in Downtown Gainesville.

Citizens are invited to attend and hear Georgia Chamber government affairs officials discuss issues including: the economy, education, water, transportation, healthcare and economic development. Other issues that affect business will be discussed along with items to be addressed in the 2009 Session of the Georgia General Assembly.

“Through these listening sessions, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce provides the business community with the opportunity to share thoughts and concerns regarding legislation which may have an impact on the business community here in Georgia. These meetings help with the establishment of our pro business agenda each year for the Georgia Chamber,” said Doug Carter of Don Carter Realty in Gainesville and Georgia Chamber of Commerce Board Member.
