Cool Beans and Whitlocks Salon & Studio Win Fall Business Beautification Awards

Gainesville, GA – December 15, 2008: The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Beautification Committee’s Business Awards of Excellence promote attractive and well-maintained areas by publicly recognizing those who have made beautification efforts to property. Winners of the fall award include Cool Beans, a coffee shop located on Mundy Mill Road in Oakwood, and Whitlocks Salon & Studio, located in a newly renovated property at 1016 Riverside Drive in Gainesville.

The Chamber initiated the beautification program 14 years ago and various businesses have received the award including: Village at Deaton Creek, Hall Community Bank, Main Street Gainesville, Brenau University, Gainesville Civic Center, Wachovia Center, Princeton Salon, Cargill, Inc., City Plumbing & Electric Supply Company, Carroll Daniel Construction Company, Margaret’s Place, Northeast Georgia Auto Glass, Slack Auto Parts and America’s Home Place. Awards are presented in the fall and spring by the Beautification Committee.
