The Good News Clinic and Green Warren Dental Clinic is a Christian-based ministry that provides medications, medical and dental care to the indigent and uninsured of Hall County without charge. Although located adjacent to the Good News at Noon facilities, there are no financial or program affiliations between the two ministries.
In existence since 1992, the Clinic is currently supported by some 70 local physicians and dentists who will provide services to an estimated 14,000 patient visits in 2003. With an annual operating budget of less than $500,000 and only seven full-time employees, the Clinic estimates it will provide over $4 million in medical services and an additional $ 4 million in cost avoidance to the medical community this year.
Funding to operate the Good News Clinic comes from private individuals and corporations in the Gainesville-Hall County area along with financial support from United Way of Hall County. The Good News Clinic is located at 983 Davis Street in Gainesville. 770-503-1369.
