Get Fit Stay Fit Draws Over 1,200

The Greater Hall Chamber’s 4th Annual Get Fit Stay Fit 5K garnered the support of over 1,200 runners and walkers and targeted employers committed to employee health and wellness. Runners of all ages, including high school and middle school students and runners over 50 participated in the 5K Run/Walk and celebrated afterwards at Hall County’s Largest Office Party with awards and recognition. The Title Sponsor for the event was Consumers Life Insurance Company.

The Fastest Corporate Team was Diamond Auto Spa and the Fastest Community team was the Gainesville Rotary Club. The Team Spirit Award winner was OHL. The Fastest CEO Award went to Greg Sanders of OHL. A group of nurses from Northeast Georgia Medical Center, The Sole Sisters, won Most Original in the T-shirt Contest. Best use of corporate challenge logo on the t-shirt went to The Longstreet Clinic, and ZF Wind Power won best use of their corporate logo on the t-shirt.
