Get Fit Stay Fit 5K Run-Walk Corporate Challenge
Team Captains Meeting on February 16 at Riverside Military Academy
Gainesville, GA – February 11, 2010: The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce’s 3rd Annual Get Fit Stay Fit 5K is Thursday, April 22 at 6 pm at Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville. Introduced by the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Healthcare Committee three years ago, Get Fit Stay Fit kicks off with an 8-week fitness training program (February 25-April 22), includes the 5K Run/Walk on April 22 and concludes with “Hall County’s Largest Office Party” following the race at Riverside Military Academy.
All companies interested in participating should send a representative to the Team Captains Meeting on Tuesday, February 16 at 4:00 p.m. at Riverside Military’s Sandy Beavers Center.
Get Fit Stay Fit is a HealthSmart VISION 2030 program that promotes health, wellness and fitness among area companies and their employees, families and individuals. From small companies to large corporations, the event will attract some 2,000 participants at all levels – from competitive runners to social walkers. Over 100 companies and dozens of individuals, ages 10 to 80, will gear up for Get Fit Stay Fit 2010!
