Gainesville-Hall County Market Report 2016

A quality of life that combines scenic beauty, the charm of a smaller community that has big-city amenities a relatively short drive away, and the opportunities generated by being the economic hub of northeast Georgia, makes Gainesville- Hall County a popular location for new businesses to locate, as well as a place where they want to grow.

The numbers of new and expanding businesses here are growing. With 24 new and existing projects announcing more than $320 million in investment that will generate more than 1,100 jobs, Hall County had its single best year of capital investment ever during 2015, said TimEvans, vice president, Economic Development, for the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce.

Since 2010, Hall has enjoyed around $1.2 billion in capital investment, with approximately 6,000 new jobs created.
