Crystal Springs Water, an Atlanta-based bottled water company, announced plans to consolidate its seven call center operations into one at the Wayne Company’s Flowery Branch Tanner’s Creek Business Park. The project will result in the creation of 150 new jobs and a significant investment in land, building and technological equipment.
The company will hire mostly customer service representatives. These jobs will be filled by workers trained under the Quick Start program at Lanier Technical College. Crystal Springs is one of five Suntory Water Group regional brand companies and is second in the nation in direct delivery of bottled water. Olga Martinez, director of the call center, predicts call averages this summer to reach 12,000 per day.
According to Matt Trice, Greater Hall Chamber Senior Vice President for Economic Development, “Crystal Springs made contact with the community through their search consultants over a year ago. At that time, Crystal Springs was shown a number of location opportunities in Hall County. The decision by the company to locate in the Tanner’s Creek Business Park is an indication that our community is poised to handle telecommunications related projects and will send a clear signal that Hall County is an excellent location opportunity for similar companies.”
