Chamber seeks nominations for Small Business of the Year

Gainesville, GA– The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for the Small Business of the Year Award to recognize an outstanding small business Chamber of Commerce member for 2001. A member may nominate their business or another member. The business nominated must have 50 or less employees. Nominations must be received by Monday, April 23, 2001.



All nominations will be reviewed by the Chamber’s Small Business Council. The award winner will be announced at the Chamber¹s Annual Meeting and Gala on May 17, 2001 at Brenau University. In addition, the Small Business of the Year will be recognized with a special plaque and in the Chamber’s newsletter, Business Link.



Eligibility and judging criteria for the Small Business of the Year Award includes the following:



– Two years in business in Hall County

– Member of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce

– Growth in sales/income/number of employees

– Innovative product or service

– Response to adversity

– Contributions to civic or community involvement

– 50 or less employees
