Chamber Seeks Nominations for Leadership Hall County
Class 2010-2011
Gainesville, GA – February 2, 2010: The Greater Hall Chamber Leadership Hall County program provides a learning experience for existing and emerging leaders of the Greater Hall area. Participants of the program are given the opportunity to develop an understanding of Gainesville and Hall County and include a cross-section of individuals (must be 25 years old). Participants develop knowledge of the community through a series of one-day sessions, August through April. Topics covered include quality of life, education, health and social services, city and state governments, judicial, and economic development.
Tuition for each participant is $800 for Chamber members and $970 for non-Chamber members, and includes a one-year Chamber membership. Each participant is responsible for paying his/her own tuition. Fees are used to cover materials, monthly program expenses, Eggs and Issues Breakfast, annual retreat, graduation reception and plaque.
Individuals must be nominated for the 2010-2011 Class of Leadership Hall County by March 17, 2010. Once an applicant is nominated, he or she will be asked to complete a detailed application. All applicants are reviewed by a selection committee, and final participants are selected from all applications submitted.
Leadership Hall Schedule:
March 17th – Deadline for nominations
March 22nd -Applications mailed to nominees
April 21st – Selection committee meets
April 26th – Letters of acceptance mailed to applicants
