Chamber seeks 2003 Business Expo sponsors

Plans are underway for Business Expo & Job Fair 2003. The event will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2003 at the Georgia Mountains Center from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

The Expo Committee is seeking at least four Gold Sponsorships. Verizon Wireless has already signed on as the first! Advanced sponsorships allow businesses to choose booth space before the general membership. Expo participants must be Chamber members, and reservations are on a first come-first serve basis. The Job Fair is open to non-member companies.

Sponsors will benefit from over $5,000 in advertisement between The Times and Jacob’s Media, NOT including promotions supplied by the Chamber.

Gold Level Sponsorships are $2,000 and include two prime 8’x 10’ booths; company logo (large) on all printed and advertising materials (including the event invitation to over 2,450 chamber members); event notices in the Chamber’s Business Link newsletter (inserted in The Times newspaper with circulation of over 32,000); articles about the event spotlighting sponsors; recognition and appreciation of your sponsorship throughout entire event; notice of event on marquees, street signs, banners, and billboards throughout the county before and during event; live radio air coverage during naming Gold Sponsors and event radio spot commercials (approximately 30+ spots); and Job Fair press releases prepared by the Georgia Department of Labor.

Silver Level Sponsorships are $1,300 and include one prime 8’ x 10’ booth; small company logo on all printed advertising materials; and articles about the event spotlighting your business name (smaller) in our Chamber and other advertising.

Last year’s Business Expo had 2,198 visitors from the community and businesses during the day as well as several hundred at Business After Hours. In addition to the 100+ exhibitors, this year’s event will feature many activities to draw the crowds – live auction, door prizes, food exhibitors from local restaurants, and wellness screenings for health-minded individuals, just to name a few.
