Chamber Receives Golden Nail Award

The Main Street Gainesville Association selected the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce as a 2003 Golden Nail Award recipient for its new office building in downtown Gainesville. The presentation was made at the association’s Annual Dinner in April at the new Northeast Georgia History Center.



Designed as the “Gateway for Business in Gainesville-Hall County,” the new Chamber building is the result of a $2 million renovation and expansion project adding 7,000 squre feet to the existing structure. The architect for the project was Steve Hill, H. Lloyd Hill Architects and the contractor was James Tipton, Tipton Consruction Company.



Chamber Chairman Benny Bagwell, Jackson EMC, and Chamber President/CEO Kit Dunlap accepted the award on behalf of the Chamber.
