Chamber members visit officials in Washington D.C.

A group of 12 Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce members were in Washington, D.C. on April 12-13 to visit with 10th District Congressman Nathan Deal and Senators Johnny Isakson and Saxby Chambliss. The trip was coordinated by Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Vice Chairman of Government Affairs Denise Deal of Jackson EMC. The group also met with Congressman Jack Kingston, 1st District.



The Gainesville-Hall County delegation spoke with the congressmen and senators about issues such as Healthcare, Water & Sewer, Transportation and Economic Development.



“Congressman Deal is now Chairman of the SubCommittee on Healthcare in the House,” said Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Kit Dunlap. “It was good to share local, state and national issues and concerns with Congressman Deal.”



The Gainesville-Hall County group expressed their appreciation to Congressman Deal for understanding and working on the issues that effect business in our community and throughout the 10th District and Georgia.
