The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce will host a Drugs Don’t Work Seminar on Tuesday, June 20 from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m. at the Greater Hall Chamber, 230 E.E. Butler Parkway in Downtown Gainesville. The facilitator for the event is Chuck Wade, CEO, Council on Alcohol & Drugs and Georgia Director of the Drugs Don’t Work Program. The event is open to the public and sponsored by Laurelwood Health & Substance Abuse Services of the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Currently, there are 7,000 State-certified Drug Free Workplaces in Georgia, and Georgia has more certified drug free workplaces than any other state in the nation. Sixty-four of the 130 chambers of commerce in Georgia offer the Drugs Don’t Work program to businesses in their area.
