Chamber AgriBusiness Award Nominations Now Being Accepted

Gainesville, GA – March 1, 2007: The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce AgriBusiness Committee and the Hall County Extension Service’s Annual AgriBusiness Recognition Breakfast is Wednesday, April 25 at the Chicopee Woods Ag Center at 7:30 a.m. Nominations are now being accepted for awards for the annual event that seeks to promote the agriculture industry in Gainesville-Hall County.

Nominations are open for awards in these categories:

Friend of Agribusiness an individual who has consistently promoted agribusiness and agriculture in Hall County. Outstanding Agribusiness a member of the agribusiness community who demonstrates significant presence and progress in this area (agribusiness must have been in operation for at least five years to qualify for this award). Farmer of the Year a person who has made a significant contribution to agribusiness and community service. Ag Hall of Fame this award will be given to two people each year (living or deceased) in recognition of sustained contributions to Hall County agriculture and agribusiness.
