Chamber to Host Candidate Runoff Forum
Hall County Commission, District 1 & 3
Meet the Runoff Candidates! The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Candidate Runoff Forum on Monday, June 1 at the Gainesville Civic Center with discussion from candidates running for the Hall County Board of Commissioners, District 1 & 3. Doors open at 5:30 pm, and the program begins at 6:00 pm. The event is sponsored by Jackson EMC.
The Hall County Board of Commissioners District 1 Republican Primary race will go into a runoff between incumbent Kathy Cooper and challenger Mark Turner, a small business owner.
The Hall County Board of Commissioners District 3 Republican Primary race will go into a runoff between Murrayville business owner Tyler Crawford and Hall County Planning Commissioner Shannon Davidson.
The runoff elections will take place on June 16. Early voting is June 8 – June 12. Link for election details: Hall County Elections.
