Business Showcase 2008
The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Business Showcase 2008 is Thursday, March 13 from 10 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Georgia Mountains Center in Downtown Gainesville and will feature a Small Business Resource Fair, business-to-business networking, Business After Hours, Annual Auction, interactive booth displays, A Taste of Gainesville, door prizes and more. Business Showcase 2008 is free and open to the public.
The Business Showcase is 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in the arena. Over 90 exhibit spaces will display business and non-profit organizations’ products and services. In addition, the showcase features “A Taste of Gainesville,” delicious complimentary food from area restaurants.
The new Small Business Resource Fair will feature regional and state resource providers, on hand to provide information on the following: How to start a small business in Hall County; How to get state and local funding for small businesses; How to help a small business grow.
Business After Hours and the Annual Auction will be held in conjunction with the showcase from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the arena with Auctioneer Butch Miller, Milton Martin Honda, and fabulous auction packages along with free food and drink.
“We are excited about this year’s event, especially the addition of the Small Business Resource Fair,” said Robyn Lynch, Vice President of Membership Development for the Greater Hall Chamber. “Our goal to make this event the premier community showcase of businesses in Gainesville/Hall County while offering small business entrepreneurs resources and business solutions.”
