New this year at the Business Expo (February 16 at the Gainesville Civic Center) is a Business Luncheon sponsored by Delta Community Credit Union. This exciting event will feature Derrick Case as keynote speaker.
Derrick and his wife, Danielle, are founders of the wildly successful Dress Up boutiques. Their story as entrepreneurs begins with a shopping trip to a mall in July 2009. Danielle was frustrated with her shopping experience and told Derrick, “This is ridiculous! We should open our own store and offer new styles every week, make it affordable and on trend.” That idea lead to the inception of the first Dress Up storefront in Dahlonega in August 2009, just five weeks later. Since then, the couple has expanded to 17 store fronts, in four states, 200+ employees, and a huge online and social media presence. Dress Up was named to the INC 5000 list in 2016 as one of the fastest growing companies in America.
Business Expo 2017 is open to the public with no admission fee.
Cost for the Business Luncheon at the Expo is $15 for Chamber Members; $25 Non-Members.
